This residential project sensitively combines state-of-the-art lighting equipment and controls with highly detailed old world architecture. The extensive interior architectural detailing required tight coordination of luminaire location to feature these decorative elements. To compliment the period architecture, antique chandeliers and sconces were fitted with modern and efficient halogen sources, making the retrofit fixtures not only beautiful, but highly functional.

A lighting control system specified for this project allows the users great flexibility, from simple daily use to extravagant parties and events. Always mindful of sustainable lighting, lamp life is extended through the use of dimmers, and energy is conserved through scene presets and periodic sweeps that turn lights off when spaces are not in use. In addition to the comprehensive lighting design that allows the architectural detailing to stand out, complete lighting and control design and documentation, and project management were provided for this project.
