This corporate office complex consists of work spaces and design studios along several sky lit concourses, punctuated by large atriums spaces. Illuminart developed a comprehensive lighting plan that balances daylighting and electric lighting for this expansive space, increasing occupant satisfaction while decreasing energy costs.

Using scale model photometry techniques and computer simulations, Illuminart evaluated daylight performance throughout the complex. Level of daylight glare and illumination levels were determined for several daylight zones. Based upon these zones, Illuminart made recommendation to control glare and design a new lighting control system. The control system includes photo sensors and astronomical clocks to automatically turn fixtures on and off as necessary throughout the day, especially during the early hours and at dusk.

The use of the lighting control system that determines optimal light levels helps to significantly reduce energy costs, as well as extend lamp life and reduce maintenance costs.
