Lucie Dykhouse

IESNA, ASID

Lucie Dykhouse, partner and lighting designer with Lumen4, graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Parsons School of Design, New York, receiving an MFA in Architectural Lighting. Upon returning to Michigan, Dykhouse joined Illuminart, working on many commercial, residential, resort, landscape, and specialty projects.

Dykhouse serves on the Board of the Outdoor Lighting Forum in Petoskey, Michigan, which is connected with the International Dark Sky Association. This position affords opportunities to works with owners, architects, and county planning commissioners to eliminate sources of glare and detrimental night time lighting and educate the public about appropriate night time illumination to preserve the night sky. Dykhouse continues her professional development by sitting for her LC certification from the NCQLP in November, 2004, and serves as design instructor for professional organizations.

Additional Staff

Like many professional lighting firms, Illuminart is comprised of a design principal and key design staff. Depending on the scope of work and services required, Illuminart may partner with other design professionals locally or across the country to provide the talent necessary to meet project deadlines.

In addition, Illuminart utilizes subcontractors on an as needed basis for AutoCAD, graphics, artwork and lighting equipment mockups.
