PROFILESKarl GeilAfter earning a bachelor's degree in biology and geology from Albion College, and working for several years on Great Lakes advocacy issues at the Great Lakes Commission in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Geil decided it was time for a career change. While working toward his master's degree in interior design at Eastern Michigan University, Geil began an internship at Illuminart; this eventually transitioned into a full-time position.
